Rebecca (Becky)

I am a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a Master’s Degree in Integrative Counselling. I am a registered member with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an Accredited Member of the National Counselling Society (NCS). I work Within their ethical framework as well as completing regular continuous professional development and attending regular supervision.

My way of working is predominately Person-Centred, Solution-Focused, with elements of Gestalt and Psychodynamic and Attachment theories. This in turn aids me to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for clients to feel at ease within the client-therapist relationship. it also allows me to adapt my practice based on the needs of the client. I aim to provide a space where clients can feel as though their story is heard and understood as well as allowing them to explore and work through the difficulties that have brought them to therapy in a safe and supportive setting.

I have experience of working with anxiety, self-esteem, stress, negative thinking patterns, family and relationship difficulties as well as general counselling,

I am happy to conduct sessions face to face or online and I aim to provide a space that is welcoming, safe and non-judgmental. As a member of the BACP I follow their ethical framework and code of ethics and have regular supervision to ensure my practice is safe.
