Leanne MBACP

Hi, my name is Leanne.

I am a qualified person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist. I have a HE Dip in person-centred counselling and psychotherapy and have recently completed a BA(Hons) in person-centred counselling and psychotherapy. I am a member of the British Association for counsellors and psychotherapists (BACP) and work within their ethical framework.

I offer a warm, judgement free, confidential space for you to explore and make sense of what is going on for you. A safe space where you can be seen, heard and valued.

I decided to become a counsellor because I felt there was not enough mental health provision for primary aged children, but as my training developed I felt a huge connection to other areas of struggle such as bereavement and anger management, among others.

Over the last few years I have been a volunteer counsellor with a charity organisation that helps children and young people. I have helped them through a variety of struggles, such as anxiety, depression, anger, drug and alcohol and the coronavirus pandemic. I also volunteered for a local bereavement charity through the first lockdown.

Due to this, I am dedicated to my own continuing professional development, attending regular workshops, training courses and conferences
